Relax zone with amphiteater and memorial of M.R. Štefánik

Relaxation zone M. R. Štefánik is a municipal park with open stages form, adjacent park, cultural centre and farmyard, where are arranged folk festivals. In the relaxation zone is equipped a Memorial for M. R. Štefánik. In 2005, in order to pay respect to General M. R. Štefánik and follow up on the historical events in the 40’s restored the monument and the park of M.R. Štefánik.

Interesting fact: At the time of the occupation was a bust of M.R. Štefánik moved to Trebišov, after the II. World War was a bust brought back.

Relax zone in the park

Monument of M.R. Štefánik was built by Slovak league in cooperation with the municipality. M.R. Štefánik train passed through the village, when he travelled to the Russian front. At the time of the occupation was a bust of M.R. Štefánik moved to Trebišov, after the II. World War was a bust brought back. In the 50s the bust was dismantled, before 1968 was placed back on the base.
