Probably in the 16th century the church was built in Čerhov. Since 1598 and even in 1646 they administer the worship of Evangelical Reformed preachers. The dominant feature of the church is the ceiling paintings, images of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the great Resurrection of Lazarus – it is a painting from 1871 created by V. Klimkovič as well as the crypt the of
former magnate J. Hercz.

Interesting fact: In 1858 it was rebuilt in the image they retain to this day and is dedicated in honor of the Virgin Mary.
